Open Letter calling for multiple transport modalities for CO2 transport to be included in the Trans-European Transport Networks (TEN-T) Regulation

Over 20 organisations call for multiple transport modalities for CO2 transport to be included in the Trans-European Transport Networks (TEN-T) Regulation.

“A continuance of only recognising CO2 transport via pipelines as possible Projects of Common Interest sends negative market signals and misses a great opportunity to spark wide-scale market development key to decarbonise. We must ensure equal opportunities for decarbonisation across Europe, including smaller emitters located far from storage sites.
