Clean Air Task Force Comments on EPA’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule for Petroleum and Natural Gas

Clean Air Task Force joined Environmental Defense Fund, Natural Resources Defense Council, Sierra Club, and Earthworks to submit comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on the proposed Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule: Revisions and Confidentiality Determinations for Petroleum and Natural Gas Systems.

The comments strongly support updates to subpart W of the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program, focusing on the requirements for oil and gas operators to report their methane, CO2 and N20 emissions.
