About the event
Iraq is working to reduce methane emissions through improved assessment of opportunities to install vapor recovery units for tanks and undertaking routine leak detection and repair for the oil and gas industry.
This event will present the work the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Oil will carry out during 2025 under the Climate and Clean Air Coalition’s Fossil Fuel Regulatory Programme in partnership with Clean Air Task Force. The programme will help develop further understanding and policies to mitigate methane emissions from in the oil and gas sector.
