About
Codie Rossi joined Clean Air Task Force in October 2022 and is the Europe Policy Manager for the Carbon Capture program. As part of his work, he leads CATF’s efforts in Europe on developing policies that support the deployment of carbon capture, removal, and storage technologies. Codie works with other environmental groups, industry stakeholders, and policymakers to ensure that carbon capture policy serves society and the environment while curbing carbon pollution. Passionate about finding innovative solutions to the climate crisis, Codie became active in some of the first efforts to socialise Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDR) through the Open Air Collective.
Prior to joining CATF, Codie worked on technology and environmental policy development with the Irish Government’s Economic Evaluation Service and the Global Center on Adaptation under former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. As a Government of Ireland Iveagh fellow on placement at the global partnership the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF), Codie worked with and advised governments in the countries most vulnerable to climate change on climate policy development and UN negotiations.
Codie holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from University College Dublin where he focused on EU climate policy as well as a B.A in History and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin.
